Mid-Season Update: CASC Dominates the Courts from Red Deer to Lacombe!
It has been a whirlwind season for the Central Alberta Sports Club (CASC)! Whether you are looking for volleyball clubs near me or checking the latest Volleyball Alberta rankings, our athletes have been making waves. From our high-performance volleyball teams competing on the provincial stage to our local rec volleyball leagues, the energy this season is unmatched.

Travel Team Spotlights: The Road to Provincials
Our travel teams have been living on the road, following the Volleyball Alberta Premier schedule 2026. Here is how our squads are stacking up:
17U Girls: The Powerhouses
Our 17U program is showing incredible depth this year. Premier 1 put on a masterclass performance, finishing 2nd on the Blue Side, while our Premier 2 squad fought hard to secure a solid 5th place finish (Blue Side, Div 2). These girls are proving that CASC is among the top volleyball clubs in the province.
16U Programs: Building Momentum
The 16U Girls Premier 1 team finished 12th on the Blue Side, showing great resilience in a tough bracket. Meanwhile, 16U Girls Premier 2 secured 7th on the Black Side (Div 4). On the boys’ side, our 16U Boys showed massive grit, finishing 11th in Div 2 at their last Premier.
15U Girls: Growth & Grit
Our 15U athletes are soaking up every minute of court time. Premier 1 finished 13th on the Blue Side, and our Premier 2 team grabbed the 7th spot on the Black Side (Div 4). The development we are seeing in these volleyball lessons and practices is translating directly to the scoreboard!
14U Girls: The Giant Killers
The 14U squad is on fire! After a 17th place finish (Black Side) in Premier 1, they surged to 4th on the Blue Side (Div 2) for Premier 2. Most notably, they recently took 1st Place at a Central Alberta Tournament, defeating tough competition like the Sylvan Lake Wave and both top Central Alberta Queens teams. Way to go, girls!
12U Coed: The Future Stars
Our youngest travel athletes are proving that age is just a number. At their most recent Premier, the 12U Coed team finished a fantastic 3rd in their pool. They are the perfect example of why our youth volleyball programs are the best in the region.

Once you’re placed, the fun begins with weekly training in Red Deer, Lacombe, Ponoka or Sylvan Lake. Fees range from $235 for Level 1–2 (fundamentals) to $395 for our Level 3–10+ Touring program. Best of all? Your registration includes five massive Saturday tournaments and your choice of custom CASC summer gear—choose between our high-performance tank or the signature 5-panel trucker hat!
🏆 Adult R4: Play While Your Kids Play!
Why stay on the sidelines? Our Adult R4 (Reverse 4s) Grass Tournaments run on the same days and at the same locations as the youth tour. It is the ultimate “family sports day.” Adults and high-performance youth (Level 11+) can jump into either the Competitive divisions.
We offer total flexibility: grab a single tournament pass for $40 or commit to the full 5-tournament season for $180. Plus, for just $50, you can join 12 weeks of uncoached skirmish sessions in Lacombe, Sylvan Lake or Red Deer to keep those skills sharp between tournament dates.
