Registration is open for the July 25th CASC Summer Grass Tournament. 

Here is everything you need to know to lock in your spot:

Athlete Registration (Required)

Only athletes who register in advance will be placed in the tournament brackets.

• Registration Deadline: Thursday, July 23rd at 11:59 PM
• Youth Registration Here – Levels 3-10+
• Adult Registration Here – Adult Rec/Competitive – Adults can join for $40!

Crucial Registration Rules:

• Only sign up if you are attending. Late drop outs completely disrupt the tournament for everyone else.
• Do not list teammates unless you have explicitly confirmed with them first. We need to make sure they are actually attending and on board to play with you!

Tournament Day Schedule

• Date: Saturday, July 25th (Backup weather date: Sunday, July 26th)
• Location: Red Deer Polytechnic, Lower Soccer Field
• Arrival & Warm-Up: 8:30 AM
• Games Begin: 9:00 AM sharp
• Estimated End Time: ~3:00 PM (dependent on match durations)

Tournament Schedule: The full schedule and court assignments will be available at morning check-in via a QR code. Please do not email requesting the schedule in advance, as it will not be released prior to Saturday morning.

Refereeing & Scorekeeping: To build leadership and a deeper understanding of the game, players are expected to take turns handling refereeing and scorekeeping duties when their team is sitting out a match. We will be going through rules and reffing more in the next two practices.
Parents: Please do not step in to help with officiating or scoring unless directly asked by a CASC coach. Let the players lead!

On-Site Amenities & Weather Contingency

• Food & Drink: We will have a water refill station available, snacks and drinks for sale, and the Red Deer Farmers market that runs till 12:30 PM!
• Weather Plan: We play through light elements, but if we face a total rain-out, the tournament will be rescheduled for the exact same times on Sunday, July 26th at Red Deer Polytechnic.
