Unfortunately, Mother Nature is not cooperating with us this weekend. We have made the tough but necessary decision to reschedule this weekend’s tournament (June 27th/28th). The current forecast for tomorrow is calling for heavy rain, high winds, and thunderstorms, with Sunday looking equally messy. While we are always down to push through a light drizzle to keep our schedule, we want our first tournament of the summer to be a blast. Nobody is going to have fun when they are freezing, soaked, and dodging lightning for six hours straight!

The New Plan

We are moving this tournament to our official backup weekend: Saturday, July 18th (with Sunday, July 19th as the weather backup) at Michener Park in Lacombe.

Because we are slotting this date into the middle of July, please take a moment to look over and update your calendars with our revised Summer Tournament Schedule:

• Tournament 1 (Red Deer): Saturday, July 11th (Backup: Sunday, July 12th) @ Red Deer Polytechnic
• Tournament 2 (Lacombe – Rescheduled): Saturday, July 18th (Backup: Sunday, July 19th) @ Michener Park
• Tournament 3 (Red Deer): Saturday, July 25th (Backup: Sunday, July 26th) @ Red Deer Polytechnic
• Tournament 4 (Lacombe): Saturday, August 8th (Backup: Sunday, August 9th) @ Michener Soccer Fields
• Tournament 5 (Lacombe): Saturday, August 22nd (Backup: Sunday, August 23rd) @ Michener Soccer Fields
