Hi CASC Families and Players,
This is your final warning bell! Registration for our first Summer Grass Tournament in Lacombe is closing fast. If you want your athlete on the courts this weekend, you need to act now.
Crucial Registration Info
Only athletes who pre-register will be placed in the tournament brackets.
- Registration Deadline: Thursday, June 25th at 11:59 PM
- Youth – Register Here
- Adults – Register Here – Only team leaders need to register for the team. This also only applies to adults that have paid for the tournament.
Important Reminders:
- Only sign up if you are 100% attending. Late drops cause massive issues for pool play and brackets, impacting everyone else’s experience.
- Confirm with your teammates first. Do not list friends as teammates unless you have explicitly asked them and confirmed they are attending.
Weather Watch & Packing List
We are tracking the weather closely. The current forecast shows rain in the early morning, clearing up by the afternoon. The final call will be at 7 AM on Saturday morning, if you don’t see it as cancelled on TeamSnap and email, assume that it is going ahead. DO NOT send messages asking if the tournament is going ahead, they will not be answered.
- The Rain Plan: If it’s just light rain, we will push through and play.
- Reschedule Plan A: If Saturday is an absolute washout, we will shift to Sunday, June 28th (though Sunday’s forecast currently looks worse).
- Reschedule Plan B (Last Resort): If the whole weekend is rained out, we will move the event to the weekend of July 18th.
What to Pack: Because we are playing through light elements, we highly recommend bringing rain coats, lawn chairs, and plenty of bug spray!
